Misson Statement

We, the members of the Columbus, Ohio Diocesan Chapter of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians, are a membership society of clergy, musicians, and liturgists.

We join each other as a part of this association:

to help one another to grow in our relationship with God;
to affirm each other as people who reflect the reality of God in our lives by our song;
to support each other in our triumphs and our trials;
to educate one another about music, improving our musicianship and expanding our musical horizons;
to educate one another about liturgy, improving both our understanding of why we do what we do and our ability to lead the people of God in prayer through music;
to continually challenge each other to implement the vision of the second Vatican Council, always striving for the "full, conscious, and active participation of the faithful."
